Order!

Wow - where did that week go?

Year 4 have been very orderly this week! Lots of sorting and ordering has been happening across the curriculum.

We  sorted our finds from last week's walk and discovered that we have found parts from Roman roof tiles, pottery and an oyster shell which may have been left over from a feast! The children have been scrutinising such artifacts under the magnifying glass.

We wrote about the task and showed off our IT skills by adding photos of the event!

We have also been looking at ordering events during the Roman period and plotted them onto a timeline. Great team working skills were clearly observed during this task!

In Maths, we matched the Roman numerals to our numbers and even learnt a great song about it!

We also had a great time during our House Picnic - the weather was fabulous and we all played some great games!

Lots more exciting things are planned for next week... Until then have a great weekend All!
