What can you see?

What can you see?

Well it's all been about light and dark, clean and dirty with Year 4 this week!

We kick started the week in House-Keeping club with cleaning windows within the school as we didn't brave the elements outside as Storm Brendan had made an appearance that evening!  Using vinegar and newspaper, the children did a sterling job! . Our cleaners were very impressed and most grateful!

Doogie wowed us with his presentation on screens. His knowledge on the development of television screens from black and white to OLED was most impressive!

Off to the forest we went with a mission in mind... to build the darkest den. The children worked hard in their teams, lugging Christmas trees and branches to their dens and I am pleased to announce that after Mr Campbell had tested each one using a LUX meter they all achieve 0!  Complete blackout in each structure! Marvelous.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone - enjoy the sunshine!
