Children in Need and Forest School Fun

We had a great time joining in with Joe Wicks at the end of his 24-hour workout for Children in Need.

Wow! Joe Wicks achieved his 24-hour challenge and raised an amazing £1,520,020!

Forest school fun this week included den building, leaf raking, bulb planting, fire making and enjoying hot chocolate too!

Please remember to put a base-layer or fleece in the PE bag to keep warm as the Forest School afternoons get chillier. Wellies also need to be in school for playtimes as well as Forest School sessions. Forest school for 4O is Tuesday pm and 4H is Friday pm.

Have a lovely weekend!

Friday, 6 November 2020

Welcome to November!

Welcome to the second half of the Autumn Term. It is fabulous to see you all in your winter uniforms looking so smart. We've had a busy start to the term and we are getting stuck into our Creative Curriculum and enjoying learning about Vesuvius in our History, Science and English lessons.

Congratulations to our Form Captains Jessica and Sophie who have now handed over their badge and responsibility to the new Form Captains of Year 4. Welcome to the job Jessica and Isabelle!

We are starting to use our chromebooks more and more so please could we ask that they are in school each day fully charged.

You'll notice a skills check Maths booklet in bags tonight. This is to be completed one sheet per week and to be returned to school ready for each Friday Maths lesson where we shall look over the answers together. The MYMaths homework will continue as usual. There will be tasks set on a Friday to be completed by the following Friday. Don't forget; reading for at least 20 minutes each night and learning spellings for a test each Monday.

If you miss a spelling test due to an extra curriculum lesson please don't worry. If you can, please complete the test at home and tell us your result so you can collect your star if you get full marks.

Have a great weekend everyone!
